Film and media composer shaped by rave and indie music origins. Based in Helsinki, Finland.

Markku Mishima is a film composer with a distinct voice, blending his background as a music producer and indie pop artist into cinematic storytelling. Part of the MusicTV generation, his musical instincts are rooted in an era where genre-blending and visual storytelling went hand in hand. Before moving into film composition, he was one half of TV OFF, a Nordic electronic pop duo that opened for The Hurts and 30 Seconds to Mars. His experience producing and writing for rap, electronic, and indie artists gives his compositions a rhythmically rich, contemporary edge.
Markku has collaborated with visionary filmmakers and major brands, crafting unique sonic textures to storytelling. His ability to merge acoustic beauty with electronic tension creates emotionally charged compositions that enhance narrative depth.
